Technically means massage at the direction of a doctor. Some clients come with a doctor's prescription, some self-refer. Also known as Treatment, Orthopedic , or Clinical Massage, Medical massage is for persons dealing with a chronic condition, injury, postural or structural conditions. Uses techniques which may include: Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point and other therapies, depending on the condition treated.

SEATED CHAIR MASSAGE

Using a specially designed chair, a skilled MT can provide a nearly full body massage with the client fully dressed. Generally provided onsite at sports, community and corporate events, often a short duration, but effective.
